Charger port is very known to rip off while simply just plugging the charger into this specific phone. This is my second time repairing this phone for a friend of mine. After taking the charger port off, two of the middle pads came off, don’t know where they are at. I have looked online for this specific problem on this phone but found nothing. I have used an tiny knife to scrape away the layer to show the copper layer but now what? Where do i connect it too and how. Please help, the materials i have are wick, soldering iron, solder wire, solder flux paste and some no clean flux liquid.
You will need to rebuild the traces using thin wire and scraping the board to recreate new jumpers to the pins on the back of the port. Not an easy task and no way to truly show you or tell you without being right there with you. It is possible though.
