So, it is a long story but I wanted to repair one of my iPhone’s and I have a 2 week old iPhone 6 that had gotten wet. I used all of the internal parts from my working iPhone in the iPhone that had gotten wet. I am having a few glitches…..
- my cell service constantly says it is searching but I can indeed make calls an receive them
- Every once in a while I keep getting kicked out of certain apps Do you think that these issues are un-resolveable because the iPhone was compromised or I should go back through and check the connections and that the antenna is situated correctly? Also, if it is from the fact that it had been wet, will it damage the motherboard from my other phone that just has cosmetic damage?
So, you took parts out of a working iPhone 6 and put them into the body of an iPhone 6 that had gotten wet? Meaning you swapped every part? The searching issue could be 1 of 2 things. Either the time is wrong or it could be an antenna issue. I would definitely reseat everything to be sure nothing is loose. Im a little confused on why you did the swap, if you already had one working iPhone 6 and Im assuming a dead iPhone 6 that had gotten wet, so I guess I need clarification on that before I go further. I would do a restore to factory just to see, if it’s a software issue.
