So my 2009 MacBook Pro will not turn on anymore. I’ve tried resetting the SMC but still nothing. It will just show the white light at the bottom of the MacBook. It had macOS El Capitan. I do not want to have to buy a new laptop since I am broke.
First lets seee if we can get it to spontaneously reboot. Disconnect the mag-safe adapter and then the battery from the logic board. Press and hold the power on button for ten seconds.
