DESKTOP-S42JRRG HP compaq pro microtower, keyboard kensington, mouse adesso HC-3003US, I’ve been having issues for days and trying multiple things. I am about to buy a new keyboard and mouse, but it could be my desktop.. First when I turn on my computer there is a LONG beeping sound. Which I put my keyboard upside down to see if it would help. sometimes it does. I press exit non stop to get to open. it sometimes brings me to orange screen of death. also the boot, setup, network spot. which I sometimes try do check or not recently my keyboard didnt work think I tried the uninstall part of it.. exit exit all the way to homepage then everything is good. I don’t remember what it does if I don’t press exit. but it always varies. Yes I tried to update the keyboard and uninstall. nothing changed. Also find it very weird I can see my keyboard thing And mouse TWICE. I deleted the doubles but seems to come back. Thankfully Right now the stuck keys are not doing anything because a minute ago they were stuck on A, yesterday was d, somethings it the arrows etc. Also I get the key toggle pop up once in a while. which of course I disabled. its asking to enable it. mouse will sometimes move on its on. non stop. I have to disconnect it and reconnect it non stop. yes I tried updating . didn’t uninstall yet. I have another Mouse I will try if it does the same thing. I have opened my tower and cleaned inside I think because the fan was making sounds or something. oh and did a factory reset if that’s what its called. I had trouble with my internet firewall but figured it out. windows needed to be activated. which is weird because I was using this computer already and never activted it yet internet and firewall worked until after the reset. I try to use a microphone and I cant get it to work at all. it doesn’t hear me. when using earphone with mic. I was wondering if it was a driver missing or something. there is a spot between cd rom and something else wire marked p5 .. anyhow thank you so much in advance. @aactech I just started my computer after unplugging my keyboard and mouse. ( which key board passed the test BUT when pressing I say keys lighting up different spots no idea if that how the numbers lock and all work.. number 4 on side would light up arrow left for example. and mouse Failed the test.) My computer Made NO SOUND! and opened up to the boot then straight to my lock screen which I then plugged in my keyboard and a different mouse. So my guess is Keyboard and mouse issue… ? Thank you again SO MUCH! means so a lot.
