Chosen Solution
Long story short, water damage around audio board caused the headphone jack, right speaker, and power button to no longer work, so I bought a replacement online. I think it should work, but it seems to be undetected and I may need to do an SMC reset. The issue is that this doesn’t seem possible without a functioning power button. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The touchID is also a button. Make sure you are holding the Shift on the right side of the keyboard.
