Hi guys, I tried googling it but came up with nothing. I have an LG TV (UH850V) with one of these magic remotes. My problem is that youtube search results, if done via magic remote (when you press search button on the remote), are drastically different from the ones within Youtube app itself. As an example, if I press search button and type “the best video” I get one results. If I open YouTube app on my TV and type “the best video” the result is totally different. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Hi @shad123 , YouTube uses its’ own search engine to search its’ site whereas the Search feature will use a different search engine which most probably has different algorithms in place as to what is meant by “best”. You should be able to choose which search engine you want in the browser but it still may not show the same results because of the above. (check Settings > Search Engines in browser)
