where did a small stainless steel spring 40mm long come from that I found at the rear of the printer base when I opened up the back to clear a paper jam. It has an eyelet on one end and sort of a hook on the other. could it be a spring for the tension to the top door that gives access to the glass scanner pane ?
looks like to me you could be right or it is used for one end holding on to the printer and the other eyed end is put onto a gear somewhere a photo of the spring?
