Hi My mac book is just 10 days old, my phone fell on the touch bar and it got cracked. although the crack is very small and not noticeable but touch bar is not responsive, only 10% of the touch bar is functional rest is not responsive. any idea if this will be covered under warranty or how much it would cost to get it repaired from apple / third party? Thanks.
For warranty go ask Apple, my opinion is this is unlikely to be covered as this is accidental mechanical damage. Apple won’t fix it for cheap, the whole upper case with keyboard and battery has to be replaced.
