After Oreo no data connection signal - two software repairs etc - no luck. My sim works fine in other phones, and other sims dont work in the sony. My last resort is sending it for repair but is there anything else I can try at home? This happened immediately after my phone restarted after the Oreo update, and there is no option to downgrade. Before that, nothing wrong with my signal or putting any sim card in the phone, as its unlocked to any network. I bought it last April from sony on amazon
Same times when ther is a problem in component everything working fine and after update some process protocols recognize the problem and its will stop to work. The only way to check is to replace the logic board. Also at our lab i run into some customers that buy “new phone” in ebuy amazon and after I open the device found replaced parts inside refurbished phone and usually those phones with bad logic board. Send it back to amazon they will replace the board or give you other phone.

Same problem happened with me Repairman says the only option to fix it is to downgrade the software, (Oreo) to Nougat or any other previous ones. He did it by flashing the mobile and downloading new software.
I have this problem and flashing a different android on it did not help the problem. So far I’ve tried:
- Stock roms: Nougat Oreo
- AOSPA: Nougat Oreo
- (non-Android) : Sailfish X
