How do I fix the side button panel on my LG LCD? The button panel has been depressed to heavily and gotten stuck back or off track. Can I take the panel off and fix it? Or does it have to be replaced?
Without seeing the damage, it will be difficult to state for sure, but sometimes, the plastic button “plate” just comes off of its supports. Sometimes the plastic posts that hold it in place break. Glue is your friend in these cases. Use a plastic glue . I prefer Plastic Weld by Plastruct. This is more of a solvent rather than a glue which means that the joint will be stronger. If this is not the case, please open up the set and take (and post) a few pictures. That will help. Dan
