Hello, I have purchased a new Asus laptop model X541UA yesterday. It came with free DOS. I boot Windows 10 Pro on the same yesterday. The booting was successful and it is running fine as well. But after I boot windows into it I found that the shutting time taken by system is too much, it is about 3-4 minutes. The screen goes of immediately in 10 seconds but the laptop remain ON for about 3 minutes. At the beginning I suspect an issue with OS, but after trouble shooting I found that it has no relation with OS or neither any driver as all the OS builds and drivers are upto date. I tried
- Defragmentation,
- HDD scan,
- Antivirus full scan,
- Power Options troubleshooting but that made no impact to the time required for shut down. interestingly there is no issue in the power on or start-up of windows , which itself represents that it is not issue of Operating system or driver. Can someone kindly help with the issue and provide the best solution to minimize the time to max 30 seconds or something. Thanks in Advance!
how did you solve it? i have the same issue and this https://thepcenthusiast.com/solved-how-t… helped me though, but wanted to know maybe there is another solution
