It jarred when untrailering now shuts off when clutch is let out
There are safety switches on the bottom of the seat, at the gear shifter, on the blade engage lever, and on the bottom of the mower at the clutch pedal arm. Most likely the jarring most likely either unseated on of those switches or the wire connector at one of the switches jarred loose.
This is for my old Troy-Bilt that is made by MTD. Some Craftsman models are also made by MTD. I would guess that most are wired similarly. I suspect the brake switch as it has a pole that is in series with the seat switch and it activated when the clutch is fully depressed. The switch appears to be item 30. Good luck.
