I’m asking, because i noticed the battery is broken and alot bigger in on of the sides. So i obviously need to replace it. But my question is, should this Macbook be able to boot up if i remove the battery? Right now, it turns on, but once the loading bar is about halfway, the machine suddenly turns off. Anyone know ?
You need to stop using your system and don’t charge the battery either! Keep your system in a cool dry place for now away from anything flammable until you can get it fixed! A blistering battery makes this very tricky! As the battery is glued in, if the envelope is punctured you could encounter an exploding battery and fire. The vapors are also not healthy to breath in as well. Unless you’ve done a few its best to give this to someone with more skills and access to a replacement battery. If you do attempt to do this your self review this guide MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Battery Replacement and here’s the needed kit MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Battery Trying to use your system without a battery: Sadly, the systems SMC services will reduce the systems clocking and press the fan to a high RPM. This is done to prevent the CPU from getting damaged when you disconnect the battery making it unusable for anything heavy.
Of course it will. If the actual cells are damaged remove immediately and install bottom panel again.
