My daughter, unbeLIEVABLY!!, thought she could charge the phone by sticking wires in the charging port while plugged into the wall outlet!! What did she short out and can I fix it!!?
There can be a lot of things, ex. U2 IC, charging fuse, charging port, etc. Try to replace the charging port. If that doesn’t work, you probably fried the U2 IC. That needs a lot of microsoldering experience to fix.
