Looking for help please. I have an iPhone 6 that won’t switch on. It connects to a pc via the cable but nothing on screen. All that I can see wrong inside the phone is that the small flex connector at the bottom of the shield, that takes the home button flex - is totally ruined. 2 previously functioning screens are not firing up on this device. Would this broken shield connector stop the screen working all together? Or just effect the home button functionality?
Normally that would just effect home button functionality but other times it can effect other things my advice is try a battery replacement usually the culprit 90 percent of the time
Try to boot up your phone whitout connecting the home button flex.
