My Sharp AQUOS TV gets fuzzy from HDMI input sources after about 15 minutes of normal operation. The native screen display (no HDMI input) appears totally fine and this occurs with all 4 HDMI inputs. What is the cause and is it fixable?
Hi, What is the model number of the TV? Have you tried different HDMI cables, you didn’t say? Is the audio OK when using HDMI? It may be a problem with the HDMI controller but whether this is on the mainboard or a separate board, then the model number is required. You could check by disconnecting the power to the TV and then removing the back cover and see where the HDMI ports are mounted on. Is the display OK when using other input sources e.g. Component video, Composite video?
