My neighbor asked me if I wanted to look this TV he just replaced. Said he ordered a power supply off Ebay, but still would not work. When powered up, has red light on front and a relay click (cycles?) a few times over several minutes, but it will never come on. I have inspected PSU board and do not see any visible bulging caps. Somewhat tested the diodes, but I don’t have a lot of experience there. Any ideas where to check? Should I just replace caps anyway? This is the original board; he sent the one he got from Ebay back. Board layout and locations

Relay that is clicking is circled in red. Goes through about 3 cycles of clicking, then power light starts flash code.

This appears to be the voltage regulator. Before going into flashing mode Top Pin has 13.3 v, next pin 0, next ground, bottom low voltage (I think about 3v)

@jmeadowz since there was no change with a new power supply let’s assume for a moment that the power supply is working ok. Let us know where the clicking was heard at. Also, let us see the rest of the board, the position in the chassis as well as the interconnect cables. I would suggest to measure the rest of the voltages from the power supply board to the main board as wella s to the LED’s. Let us know what those are. Next unplug the T-con board and see if that makes a difference with the clicking etc. or if it elicits a blinking red light instead of a solid light. At this point it is possible that this relay clicks to turn the TV on but some error (self test) prevents it from doing so. Mainboard or T-con board are my prime suspects at this time. I am not yet convinced that this is a capacitor issue (of course it is possible but I am always opposed to just going ahead and replacing those unless you know they have failed) I would also try and disconnect the LED connectors and try to start the TV. let us know what you get. Because this error code be caused by failed backlights. An LED tester may become necessary. You may have to try to reset it as well since it maybe in protect mode from all those different attempts. Unplug the TV and wait for 10-15 min. The hold “Input” and “Vol -” together and plug the TV back in. Let us know what happens. To test your panel you can try to remove the left ribbon cable from the T-Con board to panel, then reset tv (hold “Input” and “Vol -” together and plug the TV back in) and try it. After that reconnect left ribbon cable and remove the right ribbon cable then reset tv and try it out. Let us know what you get. You can try and disconnect the main board, then use a 1K ohm resistor and jump PS_On to BU5V (can’t make out your connectors on the power board but there should be a BU5V or if not connect to BL_ON/OFF). Do your LED’s (backlight) turns on?
