@gsinkel first you want to make sure that all your settings are properly set. Check teh brightness setting. IF that does not change anything it is possible that this is caused by bad backlights or a bad power board. You wuld have to remove the back panel from your TV and take a look at the power board. Check for obviosu damage like leking, or domed looking capacitors, obviously damaged looking components. Post some good pictures of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide for that Adding images to an existing question Next you need a multimeter and measure the voltages from your power supply to your backlight. Once we have some pictures of your boards we can probably show you where to measure.
