Is it necessary to backup data for changing charging port of moto g 4 plus
It is never a bad idea to backup your data. The easiest way is to go to a place with fast Wi-Fi Then on the phone connect to it. Then in the phone goto Settings –> Backup and Reset and Sync your phone once. This will put everything in your google account. If you have the photos app, make sure the photos are backed up to your google account as well.
