I have had my Apple Watch Series 6 44mm for about 2 years now. Been in and out of the pool with no problem. I don’t know if it is coincidental with me having gone swimming earlier that day. Later on that same day, I got a notification and my watch vibrated as it usually does. I looked at it and there were a few horizontal green lines going across. After that the display never came on. I could feel the touchscreen working when I touched it. I was able to take screenshots on the watch and view them on my iphone and could see that what I was looking at. I was able to unlock my watch just by taking screenshots to see about where the numbers were and I could guess the locations of them on my watch. I took it to the Apple Store and they said it could be a software issue and I could send it in and get it repaired/swapped out for $299. But I’m wondering if there’s any way to save the watch for cheaper
Your watch’s battery might have been totally drained and so it needs to recharge until it accumulates enough battery life to power on. With that said, connect your Apple Watch to its original charger and let it charge for about 30 minutes. A charging indicator should show up on the watch display. Hope this helps
