Chosen Solution
I just got this Iphone, last time he fell and never turn on after that, itunes doesn’t recognize it as well (no lights on the phone, absolutely nothing showing life). Looking the pics, what do you think? What could be the problem? Why it don’t turn on? Where should I start? Thanks Images of the cracked screen Edit 1 : After a charge, the iphone is recognized by itunes. So it should be only the full LCD to change?
a faulty top assembly (camera, proximity sensor, speaker) can cause a phone to boot loop or crash whuile booting. You may not be able to tell its doing this as the screen is smashed and not displaying so id start by removing the screen, then reconnecting the battery and connecting the phone (minus the screen) to iTunes to see if iTunes recognises the phone, if you get a response from iTunes you can go ahead and fit a new screen assembly. If the phone doesn’t pop up in iTunes id first lay a new battery on top of the old one and connect to phone to see if the phone then powers on, if so then id replace the battery, if not id lay a new charge port on top of the phone and connect in the same manor you did with the new battery to see if iTunes then recognised the phone, you are basically ruling out one part after another, if after all this you can not get a response from iTunes you are dealing with a logic board level fault.
