Sd Card Missing Reinsert Motorola Moto G 3Rd Generation

My phone is giving me the message “SanDisk SD card missing, reinsert this device”. I have tried removing the card and reinserting it, but the message doesn’t change. The card was working fine until a couple of days ago. What should I do?
