if the scroll button for the Logitech G502 Hero is not clicking so where’s the problem then and can i fix it ? (i mean the main click not the right and left scroll click) thanks in advance :)
The scroll wheel can be locked (clicky) and unlocked (freewheeling). Simply press the small square button just behind the wheel itself (marked with a pair of arrows in a circle) to switch between the two modes. Note that the button has needs to be pressed fairly firmly untill it clicks.
Hi,you might want to check out the disassembly and see if the scroll wheel assembly is clean and functioning. Proceed to step 9 for a “preview” how it looks on the inside:Logitech G502 Hero DisassemblyIn step 10 you can see the scroll click button between the two springs.
The click is likely permanently broken as the switch is just a little plate that probably got dented. It does not look easy to desolder but it might be possible. You can also just remap middle click to another button like one of the ones to the left of left click, personally prefer that over middle click now and the switch will last a lot longer
