Hello, im attempting to do a conversion on an iphone, but the third screw isn’t coming off. the screw isn’t washed, but when i unscrew it it just keeps turning and doesn’t seem to losen up. it is the third screw on the emi shield covering the lcd digitizer connectors. Does anyone know how to remove this troublesome screw?
Have had this a few times. Problem is that the ’nut’ it is fixed in got loose from the logic board. You can grab the ’nut’ with a plier or so and unscrew the screw, or you can also just leave the screw in place and pull the EMI shield out with the screw still in (this will work OK).
