Help I have no idea what to do I accidentally threaded the screw of the CMOS battery door and I cannot remove it. I also need a replacement as I’m pretty sure the slot would be damaged when I remove it.
You cannot unscrew it to get it out, if you screw it in, does it stop or continue to spin? If it stops, you will need to drill the head off, remove the cover and see what you can do to fix the female receptacle as you are thinking.
