Chosen Solution
My 2ds xl turns on the top screen works but looks statice. The bottom screen is black but I see light to it and it responds to my touch.
Open the casing and unhook both display cables then reset the cables ,connection could be faulty, could be back lighting .. use a led flashlight while the unit is turned on to light the screen if you can see your video on the screen your back light is out .. worse case is the graphics card is going out .. would take a new motherboard if said issue was in fact the problem.
