Chosen Solution
I am corrently changing my Ipad Mini Touch Screen Digitizer. The problem is just that, it is not like the ipads i can find guides to. It is an ipad mini 2 Retina Display Wifi/Cellular A1490. When i try to take the screen out, it’s like something in the top, holds it back. In the videos i find online, there is nothing holding it in the top. Can somone help me to find a guide? Btw im from Denmark.
It appears as though they added tape in addition to the adhesive on the back. I asm researching right now if it is safe to cut. I am very confused as the inside of the one I am working on it COMPLETELY different looking with the digitizer removed. Be very careful. The LCD itself is extremely fragile.
