When i turn on the iphone, with full battery, the screen is just black.
multiple possible failures cause screen not functioning. in order of likelihoods, they are as follows;
- Screen failure: Replace the LCD assembly to repair this issue.
- Loose Connector: Open the device, disconnect the screen, reconnect the connectors to fix this issue.
- Cashe Failure: press and hold both the Power and Home buttons at the same time for 15 seconds to fix this issue
- Software failure: device software is not analyzing the screen data. Restore iphone to fix this issue. (YOU WILL LOSE ANY DATA)
- Motherboard failure: The imaging chips are not processing the screen signal correctly. The repair for this is a micro solder job. something that requires a very intense skillset. i do not suggest this repair without experience. At this point, for an end user, it is best to replace the device, rather than attempt repair.
