I replaced my HD and now my imac starts normally but screen doesnt turn on, i have checked the inverter cables and done all the possible combinations
Try hooking it up to an external monitor to isolate the problem. Why did you replace the HD. Was the screen working before you started? What drive did you replace it with? Try starting up from your system installation disk by inserting the disk and holding down the “C” key. Let us know your results.
