My phone died. I charged it. There was a blinking light next to the camera. After a while of charging, I tried turning it on. The screen never changed, but there’s a little vibration (which is normal when I turn on and off the screen) when I press the on/off screen button (bottom button of three, on the right side). I can only assume that the phone is actually on, but I just can’t get the screen to turn on.

Kirstin Kyle  since it seems to behave properly on startup I’d suggest that you try a hard reset first and see if that resets the video etc. If that does not work you should consider a new display Motorola Moto Z Play Screen Replacement
