Hey guys I was replacing the digitizer on my iPad 2 the other day and the lcd won’t turn on. I haven’t sealed it up yet but I have tried to force reset it and it didn’t work. But when I plug it in I hear sounds. But also the screw that holds the battery connections to the logic board is stripped. So guys please help if you can

Assuming your Home and Power buttons were both connected on the circuit whilst you did the hard reset, (Home adnd power for 20Sec), take a flahs light to the screen and see if there is an image on it, without the backlight. If this is the case, likely the backlight filter, or diode has blown. This is the most common failure for home repairs next to physical damage. Ususally caused by doing the repair while the device is on. this is a microsolder surface mount job. if you are comfortable with SMT repairs, then here http://www.cyberdocllc.com/shop/full-rep
