Chosen Solution
After finding my water damaged 6S Plus, I plugged it in and it showed the no battery sign. Then it powered on and I could see that the backlight was broken. I tried to take the phone apart and reseat the connections with the display, but now it won’t show anything at all. I can tell that it’s working though because it shows in iTunes. I also tried clean the logic board but the result was the same. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Right now it sounds like your display assembly is toast, but if you didn’t do anything at all about the water damage prior, you may have some logic board damage.
