Chosen Solution

I’ve done a few iPhone repairs in the past, and things have usually run pretty smoothly until now. I decided to replace my battery, and so I bought a cheap one online and replaced it myself. During the replacement my old battery broke however, and upon putting in the new one my iPhone would not turn on or respond in any way, even when connected to power. I did some research and concluded that it was likely a faulty battery. I ordered a much higher quality one, installed it, and the phone still does not respond. However, when connected to my computer, iTunes recognizes it but won’t let me sync it because I have to unlock my phone (which is not possible). Since it does this though, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is a screen problem, and that it must’ve been damaged when I did the repairs. I’ve check all of the connectors and cables, and there seem to be absolutely no signs of tear or misalignment. Honestly, it looks absolutely perfect, but the screen simply will not work. I’m a poor college kid, so if at all possible I would like to repair my current screen rather than buy a new one. Any suggestions? EDIT:: After a lot of digging around, I ordered a new LCD from amazon that had very high reviews and seemed like an excellent screen compared to the ones I’d viewed. This screen came with the Home button, camera and other parts already assembled (I didn’t want to risk something being damaged during an extensive process of removing those parts from my current screen). Wasn’t OEM, but still high end. Upon receiving it, I carefully checked all the cables and ports, and found that two prongs of one of the ports had been bent out of place slightly. I bent them back into position easily, then installed it on my phone, being careful to remove the battery before putting it in. The ports snapped in easily, and I’ve checked them after each time I attach a screen (they are in great condition). My phone was still completely unresponsive, and upon connecting the phone to my computer, iTunes said my phone was in recovery mode. I had to update iTunes in order to update my phone, so I did. After iTunes rebooted, my phone would not be recognized by my computer for a few minutes (even in Device Manager). Then it reappeared and connected to iTunes, no longer in recovery mode, but still unable to sync because the password had not been typed in. The screen does not work, but I feel like it was not faulty (despite the initially bent parts). Is there a chance there’s actual damage to my motherboard that is preventing the screen from working? Or is it yet another faulty part? I’m beginning to suspect that there is heat damage on the circuitry that occurred during my removal of the first battery. If so, would a factory reset help? Sorry to make this so long, but I’m extremely confused and beginning to be frustrated with this phone.

There are numbers of possibilities, As you have said the old battery has been damaged while removing, so it mean you have been struggling to remove the battery, and if you hadn’t remove the lcd while removing the battery, chances are the lcd has been damaged. Because there is no display or backlight. But phone turns on as you mentioned it connects to iTunes. just clean the the lcd, remove the battery and install them in carefully (lcd first) turn your iPhone on under bright light so you can see apple logo in the dark screen if shows it mean back light circuit (filter mostely) burnt. If that’s the case than you need micro soldering professional to get it sorted for you. If you can’t see dimmed apple logo than either lcd has been isolated and damage (even it does not look damage) Or display circuit (normally filter again ) but if you try it repairing yourself without professional tools and micro soldering skills, you may damage your phone even more. So I would suggest only check the backlight (dined apple logo while turning on) only. yes or no take it to some one who knows this stuff.
