Hello! I have been having an issue since I updated to Mac OS 10.12.6 where my screen is stuck on full brightness and will not change with the F1 or F2 keys and will not change if I open up my brightness preferences. Even though I have autodim that does not work either. I recently broke my screen and replaced the display using official Apple parts I bought here. I did not have any issues after installing the new screen until I updated to the newest OS. I talked to Apple Support and I tried reinstalling my OS but that did not work. Any help or experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Blake
I have the same issue and dimming works when I close the lid. Wait for 5 sec and open it again. Then dimming works.
