I have the LGCS560 TV and the screen went suddenly black. The backlight and the sound are still working. I tried to turn on and off but it keeps doing the problem. It looks like LG has scheduled a Planned obsolescence. Government should start to do something about it, these companies are screwing all of us and the environment. The TV is perfect and I’m sure it will cost a lot to repair it so they force us to throw it out and buy a new one!

Pietro Zucca could be the display but you do want to check the T-con board and the main board first. Unplug your set, remove the back and check all the boards. take some pictures and post those with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. Update (04/07/2018) Pietro Zucca use your multimeter and check the power-on sequence as directed. Let us know what you find

It’s not the obsolescence that screwed it over, that only makes it !&&* to buy an obsolete product, but you already have one. It’s probably the display, there are quite a few on EBay.
