I was using my laptop when the screen suddenly went black whilst the rest of the computer showed no sign of issue. Tried to plug the laptop to a tv through a HDMI cable, however the tv reported no signal. Does anyone know what may have happened to the computer and how it might be fixed? Thanks.
First, remove the battery cable from the motherboard and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to drain the capacitors on the board, and see if the issue is fixed. If not, check the RAM on the device and take each stick out one at a time to see if there is a defective RAM Module.
