Hey, theres another A1708 with very strange problems. In principle it works like a charm, but there is something strange going on with the display I think. Everytime it goes to sleep or is restartet on battery power, the screen remains black when turning back on. But system is up, hearable on sound and keyboard backlight. When I plugin power, the display will light up immediately. Sometimes display remains off also with power pluged in. Only after NVRAM and SMC reset the display will come to live again but first time only with power pluged in. I have no clue yet. Hardware Test says ADP000…so no hardware issues!? Tried complete reinstalling MacOs…nothing changed. Thanks in advance ;) Update (20.12.2019) Checked with a flashlight. Display is coming on but no backlight. Does anyone know what are the backlight relevant components on board or hinge?
