The physical screen isn’t cracked, but my top screen display shows up partially black and it has colorful lines going through it. Not sure if replacing the lcd screen will fix it or if it’s coming from somewhere else since there are no cracks on the screen.
I would say an lcd screen replace should fix it since it looks like the black parts of the screen have “been melted away”. Furthermore, if you Google broken LCD screen, then results that look like your screen come up. Hope this helps.
