Chosen Solution
The screen has 3 ribbons that need to plug into the phone. The first one snapped in fine. The second plug would not snap in. I tried snapping the original screen and it snapped in with no problem. I was not able to install the new screen.
Inspect the connector on the phone and on the screens. If the old one snaps in fine then it’s possible that the connector on the screen is damaged.
