Chosen Solution
So I can remove my screen and all the screws in the plate that protects the ribbon cables and yet the plate it’s self will not budge I’ve tried loads of times and my conclusion is that last time I payed to have the screen fixed that the bloke might have glued the plate on? I fixed a iPhone six a few weeks ago with no problems but still can’t figure mine out any help would be awesome
There are about 5 screws on that metal plate covering the screen connectors. I would be surprised if someone actually glued that part down as there is really no reason to if screws are present or not. Try heating up that area with a hair dryer for about 15 seconds on that metal plate, don’t worry about the heat it is not hot enough to damage the phone.
