Chosen Solution

So I am needing to grab a whole bunch of stuff out of my old iphone 6 (phone A) but the screen is busted, I also have my little brothers iphone 6 (phone B) which has a faulty digitizer where the lower half of his screen doesn’t work. Now I have everything I need to replace the screen, I plan on fixing phone A to a point that is functional, just so it works long enough for me to get my data out of it. After which, I plan on placing the new screen on phone B. Now here is the main issue, new screen on phone A shows display but is unresponsive to touch. I have gone through it multiple times, cables, screws, battery… all that jazz. Most I can get out of it is some responsive on the right corner of the screen, only after applying more pressure on the inserted cables. I start thinking that the screen replacement i have is faulty, though I go ahead and place the new screen on phone B and it works perfectly! which gets me stumped. I figured I may have bent pins on either the cables or the logic board on phone A but they all seem in order. I place the screen from phone B to phone A and everything works! same issues apply as mentioned at the start in regards to phone B but the main thing is that I am able to get touch responsiveness! and that is without having to apply pressure. Now i have gone through the internet for hours trying to find a solution or an explanation of whatever this is that I got but I have come to nothing. I may end up going to a repair store, but i suppose asking my question here is worth a shot before I consider such an option. To quickly recap, phone A is (practically) unresponsive with new screen replacement but is responsive to the damaged screen from phone B. phone B of which, is functional with the new screen replacement.

Being an iPhone 6 model the problem will most likely be the connectors on the logic board. There are two that can cause this, the touch connector and LCD connector. The touch connector is the one I would be examining. Use some magnification and check all the pins are okay and not pushed into the plastic. Also check the solder on the legs.
