Screen Replacement Face Id Shows No Error But Does Not Work Iphone X

I did a screen replacement on an iPhone X. Everthing seems fine. No error message, but when I try to configure the face id it will not lock. The face shows, but it does not move on to the next step. Any idea what is wrong?

First reset the face id setup to default.Many reason for that by seeing the history might be that cause dust on Dot project.So clean it carefully with cotton ball before doing don`t forget to remove the battery otherwise static energy makes damage the dot projector. Possible reason. 1 - Dot projector dust or Lcd side also clean small amount of dust also makes that issues. 2- Clean IR camera too.

Thanks for the answer. I was thinking about the dust too. I will try next time. I see there is a black tape on the original screen where I have marked with red. Does that tape need to be replaced on the new screen?

I figured that when FACE ID is placed as it is on the picture it works. It stops working when I try to screw it to the screen. Is it a bad screen or other reason?
