Chosen Solution
I just did an iPhone 8 screen repair, got the device put back together and turned it on, and I can hear the chime and the touch ID button has haptic feedback, but the screen isn’t turning on. Any ideas of how to troubleshoot this? I am a noob, just repairing it for my daughter, everything seemed to go smoothly.
All I can recommend is checking then reseating the connections to the screen. These being the one near the camera up top and the one in the middle right area. If you still run into problems it is possible that the replacement screen is faulty.
