Chosen Solution
As people may be aware, the 7T seems to be shipped with a significant amount of of the first few batches having weird green, blue and purple tints on various places on the screen (especially noticeable on lower brightness settings). I was wondering if there would be any ways of fixing this? Has this ever occurred in the past? Can we fix this issue ourselves? I would love to fix this issue myself someday because I hate sending my phone out to other places and i plan to tear it open next year anyways.
The problem is uniformly present in almost all OnePlus 7t units… I have a December 2019 manufactured unit bought in July 2020 with the same issue, when reported to the service centre they say it’s normal and compared with other demo/customer units, the problem remained…OnePlus just cheaped out on the OLEDs that can be the only explanation
