My Iphone recently stopped showing image, and when I restarted it, it never turned on again. Believing it was the display, I replaced the screen/lcd, but the battery managed to get damaged. I got a new battery, and now it turns on, but its only backlit with a few different colored vertical lines. Thanks for any advice in advance!
Sounds like the LCD you installed is faulty. Vertical lines generally mean that the LCD cable is loose from the LCD or not plugged in to the logic board all the way. Try reinstalling the part and if that doesn’t work order another.
