Chosen Solution
Replaced 5s home button, but forgot to disconnect the battery before removing screen. After putting everything back together phone turns on, is recognized on iTunes but screen is not working. Baclight filter is not blown because there is nothing showing up on the screen even under a light source. Also battery started to act weird, it becomes dead in a few hours now while it’s sitting on my desk.
Check your flex cables and do a hard reset if necessary
