iPad mini a1490, glass and LCD both repaired. When I try to turn the iPad on, the Apple logo comes on, then it goes to a black screen. I let the battery run down and plugged it in. The charging indicator comes on for a second then it goes to a black screen. It’s like the screen is shorting out….. Help please
Is the device staying powered on? Do you hear any lock sounds or notice any activity when the screen goes black? Does the device boot loop or just turn black? If the device is boot looping you may have damaged the gas gauge components that are next to the battery connector when using your tool to disconnect it.
