few days ago i was casually using the phone and was playing game that suddenly my screen colour changed. it became dim and vertical lines appear on the screen. after a restart i thought the issue will be fixed but when the phone restarted vertical lines was still there and it asked me the passcode and noticed that touch screen is also non responsive. image available here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/18wv…
Do you ever see a gray bar at the top of the display? This really sounds like a classic case of Touch IC Disease. Its a known defect in the 6+ and honestly, its sick that Apple has let this go on for so long.
