My screen was not responding to touch as it should (i.e. either no reaction at all in certain spots and otherwise jumping around when touched). I replaced the screen as advised and at first it was much better as only one small spot on the screen was unresponsive and there was no jumping around. However, after 1-2 weeks it is now worse than it originally was. When the screen is touched it jumps almost every time (i.e. if I click on a message it acts as if I swiped it to delete or if I touch an email it won’t open and the screen will jump up and down).
Make sure when you replace the screen that no dust or debri gets in the enclosure and that it is sealed properly…also the ribbons connecting the lcd to board may also be faulty. you can try reseating the screen again and then test or if you are still under the warranty for the part used you can see about getting it exchanged.
All the signs of a faulty screen and its deteriorating through time.. Time for another screen remember cheap is not always better
