My screen has been working fine for the year I had it then the other couple days I’ve noticed white lines on my screen but it still worked fine just yesterday it started acting buggy and slow and uunresponsive so I took it apart and reseated the digitizer without hard pressure at all and then it just continued to have crazy colorered lines sometimes the screen was completely black yes I disconnected the battery every time but I just put my new screen in and no lines but the first time the touch screen was barely responsive it moved one notification but barely but it just isn’t responding. Also I connected the home button and it isn’t working either. I need help I don’t think I damaged anything

I’m going to take a guess that the replacement screen is defective, very rarely a 5s will have touch issues being caused by the logic board. Unless the touch screen connector is damaged or has liquid damage / corrosion near it you can check this by removing the black sticker that is around the screen connectors on the logic board.

Hello I am not sure what is the problem but you can try to connect the I phone into a lap top. Then try to set it for I phone recovery mode. Then try to reset the I phone from the laptop. If that dose not work call Apple and I think they may be able to reset the scream and device if wirelessly. Good luck and hopefully it will work
